The founder of Flashmusica/Plushi is a musician herself. Kit has a music degree from Montclair University (NJ), Manhattan School of Music (NY) and is a skilled performer and music educator. She has taught private piano for 20+ years and has had the honor of working with many, many people of varying skill levels and age. Kit has also obtained a certificate in computer graphic design from Northeastern University (MA).

The flashcards are designed by Kit and are dedicated to her students. For years Kit has taught music history, music theory and pedagogy in her studio. It became a favorite part of the lesson and for years her students have asked her to put all the collective knowledge into a book or flashcards. She has finally done so and is continuuing to research and promote knowledge in the form of flashcards.
